Who is eligible?
Any New Jersey student with a confirmed Fall 2024 admission at a Community College or University.
What topics will be covered?
- Foundation mathematics for stem degrees
- Real-world applications of science and mathematics concepts
- Supplemental instruction:
- STEM focused hands-on activities and workshops in the NJIT Makerspace including 3D modeling - Computer Aided Design (CAD), additive manufacturing, generative design, etc.
- College success skills development
- NJIT Makerspace activities
Is there a cost?
The boot camp will be free of charge and will include tutoring and peer mentor support. All participants are expected to maintain 80% or higher attendance and participation in all activities.
When and Where?
The STEM Boot Camp has concluded after supporting students in the Summer of 2023 and 2024.
