"Engineering Career Day"

Due to an overwhelming response, we must close registration for this event. 

For the last several years, the Newark College of Engineering has hosted an “Engineering Career Day” on the campus of NJIT. The program is designed to give high school students an opportunity to explore options in six diverse engineering fields, all on the same day. Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Students will be escorted throughout the campus, and your students will be able to meet with currently enrolled engineering students and faculty. In addition, there are a series of workshops that are run concurrently with these student tours, oriented to both teachers and guidance counselors, and professional development credits will be awarded.  

The attendance at this event is limited, so schools should register early.  To help us offer this event to as many schools as possible, we ask you to limit the attendees from your school to 20 students. 

For the spring Career day, we encourage high school juniors to attend NCE Career Day and enhance their knowledge of the engineering fields.
